The Vancouver Classic Car Toy Run is an annual event that includes collectible vehicles, toys for charity and a drive from Port Moody to Vancouver. The event is put on by a group of people who are passionate about cars and want to give back to the community. This year’s event will start at 9:00 AM and take place on Saturday, September 14th at 2916 Spring Street by the Moody Centre Train Station in Port Moody.
In order to participate, please bring a new child’s toy, gift card or make a cash donation to benefit the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. This charity provides gifts for underprivileged children every holiday season.
Participants should meet at 9:00 AM at the Park & Ride at 2916 Spring Street by the Moody Centre Train Station. The procession of cars will leave the station around 10:00 AM and make their way to Red Truck Brewing at 295 East 1st Avenue. Instructions including the planned route will be given out before departure and the procession will take about one hour.
The event will take place rain or shine and is open to all varieties of classic cars and their owners. Both spectators and car enthusiasts are welcome to join in on the fun!
