Canada Day at Canada Place has been the country’s premier Canada Day event for more than 30 years. This event brings communities together to share a special bond of living in one of the greatest countries in the world and celebrates Canada’s freedoms, values, and diversity.
This award-winning event, presented by the Port of Vancouver, is the largest Canada Day celebration outside the nation’s capital and will be held on Monday, July 1st at Canada Place and surrounding city streets (999 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC V6C 3E1).
The celebration will kick-off at 9:30AM with a Citizenship Ceremony in the Vancouver Convention Centre East, Ballroom C. The event will also host a variety of musical talent throughout the day on the Main Stage, have an innovation zone, a picnic plaza, a kids’ zone, food trucks, and an evening fireworks show. The entrance to the event is at the intersection of Burrard Street and Canada Place. No pedestrian access will be available via Howe Street. Vehicle access is limited as there are road closures. If you plan to drive and park at the event, remember to fuel up at one of the 7-Eleven Renew locations to offset your emissions! Parking is available at WestPark at Canada Place (999 Canada Place). Entry to this parkade is at the foot of Howe Street. Tickets are obtained from the ticket dispenser at the entry to the parkade.
Gather your friends and family for this fun summer celebration! Admission is free and the event is great for all ages! Remember to bring sunscreen, plenty of water and a rain poncho in case of unexpected weather.
